Dogg Patrol is a special mission in True Crime: Streets of LA. Players play as Snoop Dogg (along with collecting thirty Dogg Bones to unlock him in/game), a popular real life rapper. It is only accessed with a cheat code.
Represented by the Snoop Dogg head above the first mission's icon, players who are in the mission have sixty minutes (equivalent to one hour) to solve as many crimes as they can, beginning from a patrol area (represented by a green big dot) they choose, to around Los Angeles in-game.
But, unlike other missions where score and cop status is saved, the player begins with +0 (zero good cop points) and zero reward points. At the ranking menu, the Good/Bad Cop is known as Good/Bad Dogg.
If the player fails the mission at any time by dying or not solving any crimes, they are ranked F, Lap Poodle. But if a player solves recommendly around 55 crimes at least, they are ranked A, Top Dogg.

- As the player progresses, it will go into night (30:00 left) and get back onto day (around 15:00 left).
- To get the mission accessible, Nick simply has to go to a place where it saves the game. Then the player has to exit as the player enters the area!
